Brass room rags with deep laser engraving

A local firm was updating the room tags for a boutique hotel La Colombe D'or and asked Price Customs to laser engrave them. Their original tag markings were done with a CO2 laser and thermal marking spray so they quickly wore off. After viewing some samples, the client chose to go the route of deep engraving so that the markings would last much longer.

This process takes quite a bit longer than normal engraving, but it retains fine detail while creating a completely new look as light catches the added depth from different angles. These tags were about 1/2" deep, 1/4" thick and 2 1/2" wide. Four copies were made for each room.
